Review:
The Event is an exciting action thriller that revolves around Sean
Walker (Jason Ritter, The Class), a man who investigates the mysterious disappearance of his fiancee, Leila (Sarah Roemer, Disturbia). Unintentionally, during his search begins to uncover the cover is concealed do the biggest conspiracy in U.S. history.
In his research, Sean will cross the path of an eclectic group of strange characters, including the newly elected president of the country (Blair Underwood, Dirty Sexy Money), Sophia (Laura Innes, ER), the leader of a mysterious group that has been arrested or their own future father (Scott Patterson, The "Gilmore Girls"), a man with many secrets.
They will be involved in a global conspiracy that threatens to change the future of humanity. Actors Ian Anthony Dale (Daybreak) and Zeljko Ivanek (Damages) complete the cast of the series.
