Boardwalk Empire is an American television series broadcast by HBO in 2010. It is located in Atlantic City, New Jersey, during the period of prohibition in the 20s. Starring Steve Buscemi, is partly based on the book Boardwalk Empire: The Birth, High Times, and Corruption of Atlantic City by Nelson Johnson, was adapted by Terence Winter, writer and producer of The Sopranos. One of the executive producers are Martin Scorsese, who also directed the pilot episode. The series premiered on September 19, 2010 in the U.S.. UU. Despite recently premiered, HBO announced a second season series only two days after estreno.Boardwalk Empire is a period drama focused on Enoch "Nucky" Thompson (character based on Enoch
"Nucky" Johnson, an influential politician of that city between 1911 and 1941), a prominent political figure controlling Atlantic City, New Jersey during the period of prohibition from 1920 to 1930. Nucky interacts with several historical figures in his personal and political life, including mobsters, politicians, government officials, etc. The government also is interested in smuggling and other illegal activities in that area, sending agents to investigate possible connections with the Mafia but also to see the luxurious and expensive Nucky lifestyle, political figure in the county.

Review:

The Event is an exciting action thriller that revolves around Sean
Walker (Jason Ritter, The Class), a man who investigates the mysterious disappearance of his fiancee, Leila (Sarah Roemer, Disturbia). Unintentionally, during his search begins to uncover the cover is concealed do the biggest conspiracy in U.S. history.

After discovering the mystery of the ninth chevron, a group of military, civilian and scientific
lived Icarus secret base forced to cross Stargate prematurely when the base is attacked. As a result, went into the ship Destiny (Destiny), launched by The Ancients at the golden age of their civilization as an experiment
launched but never completed.
What begins as an accident, ends up being an endless mission when the improvised issuing notices that the ship can not return to Earth and that are billions of light years away from it. Now have to survive on board.
The crew will travel to the ends of the universe. There will be challenges when approaching the ship at the door sent thousands of years ago and the crew could not change the route of sailing ship. If someone is left behind, not able to return to search, add this to the drama of finding new races, enemies and adventures.
